Pearl Akosah

CEO & Principal Interior Designer

Pearl is an Interior Designer.  She lives with her family and their adorable cavapoo in Virginia. She caters to the interior design  needs of busy professionals in Virginia and beyond.

Born in Ghana, she studied in her home country, as well as in Belgium, Senegal, and the USA.  She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ghana Business School and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and Public Policy from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. She was an international development professional for over twenty years. At a point in time, she was also a stay-at-home mom.

Pearl has a natural flair and a deep passion for creating beautiful spaces. Her sense of style and creativity has always been evident in her selection of lighting fixtures, furniture pieces, accessories, window treatments, flooring, textures, and colors for her home and other design projects over the years. To refine these natural skills, she took a course in interior design - her last educational adventure - at the New York Institute of Art and Design, and earned a certificate in Interior Design.

Pearl is pursuing her innate passion for creating beautiful spaces as a career and giving back in another unique way.  

She is very cosmopolitan, which allows her to include interesting modern ideas in her designs and selections. She loves traveling to Ghana, around the US ( twenty-two states and counting!), and Europe. She can’t wait to explore South and Central America, Australia, and Asia. Her international and intercultural experiences have given her the ability to easily connect with people of diverse backgrounds.

From her 20-plus year career, Pearl brings skills such as budgeting, problem-solving, project management, partnerships, and communication, and her clients can expect a professional, efficient design experience.
